Tungnath ji chandershilla
Tungnath ji is a highest shiva temple in world.Tungnat ji is worshiped as the arm or baazu in the panch kedar tradition along with four other shrine-kedarnath,Rudernath,madmaheshwar and kalpeshwar represents different parts of lord shiva.tungnath ji and Chandershilla is famous for trekker and pilgrimis.
Chandrashila peak is a rocky face above the temple of Tungnath the highest of all temple in Himalayas.chandershila summit affords the most beautiful view of the Nadadevi ,Trishul,Kedarpeak,and Chaukhamba peaks. If sky is clear you can see 360 degree view from chandershila peak.

Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrival Rishikesh. Check in hotel. After lunch expedition planning. Evening accmalitization walk and Aarti at Lakshman jhula. Overnight stay at hotel.
- Day 2: Rishikesh to Saari village(8 hour )journey by taxi .On the way we can see Rudraprayag, Devprayag. Evening accmalitization walk. Overnight stay at camp/hotel.
- Day 3: Saari to Devariya tal (2438meter) 4 hour trek. Devareriya tal is a beautiful lake surrounded by oak and cedar tree, from here you can see snow peaks like chaukhambha. Lake is famous for lots of hindu story like Yudhishthir and yaksha, Baanasur and Usha.
- Day 4: Devariya to Chopta. Descend down to Saari from Devariyataal(1hour). Saari to Chopta by taxi. Chopta is beautiful meadows in Himalaya. Overnight stay at Chopta(2700mtr)
- Day 5: Chopta to Tungnath ji(3500mtr). it’s a 4 hour trek to tungnath ji. from tungnath ji one and half hour trek to chandrashila(3677meter). while coming back 2hour trek and overnight stay at chopta /saari.
- Day 6: Chopta to Rishikesh it’s a 8 hour journey by taxi.evening departure to respected places.
